Evaluating Language Education Programs
- For districts/schools that need to demonstrate whether their language education programs (dual language, transitional bilingual, world language, heritage language, English-medium) are effective.
- This day-long workshop shows educators how to conduct an internal evaluation of their language education program. Equipped with a series of guiding questions, educators collect data about the degree to which their program is pedagogically-sound, well-implemented, and delivers results. Educators are shown how to use evidence from their program evaluation of to improve their programs and practices for ELLs.
